Be aware that there is also a MIT licensed upnp library here:
http://www.virtualworlds.de/upnp/
If you plan your application to be open source you should definetly use
this one as I think the ProtoSys one is binary only (please correct me
if I am wrong).

Hi would it be possible for Nokia to release a version of
Maemo_Dev_Platform_rootfs_v1.1rc5.jffs2 or newer which contains the
audio stuff?
Not having any way to output audio with the current dev image makes it
useless for me, and having to install the normal image and get root,
xterm and ssh
