Sure, but even before that please:
- Confirm that this workshop will happen. Only from Nokia there will be
enough people to make it happen
It is an excellent idea, but please:
- Share the slides, and
- If possible, plan on recording/broadcasting the sessions.

are there plans for a workshop or introduction for newcomers in the

anybody who would like to do this as a "speaker"? And are there other
potential participants like me?
Regards,
Keywan

Hello maemo developers!
Information for you in advance: a completely new maemo document intended
for new maemo developers, "Maemo 4 Quick Start Guide" will be out in the
near future. The purpose of the guide is to be a starting point for
developing maemo applications for people with basic GNU/L

It sounds perfectly sensible to keep these out of the view of the
majority of people, who would never want them. Otherwise, it's just some
new cool my

Hi
Juha,
thanks for sharing the info. I have the repository named
"repository.maemo.org" enabled on my N800 however, the tools do not
appear as installable apps. Is there something else that needs to be
done to make these tools visible in the list of installable apps within
the application manage
Hi Juha, what is the sources.list/repo line we need to add to gain
access to these utilities? I've hacked on mine quite a bit and am
obviously missing something. It might be good to add to the page for
those of us missing it.
Thanks-

Hi Tollef, good to see you here. We are looking forward to strenghthen
this collaboration.
I met Jono last week in LinuxTag also to tell him 'Hopefully, we can
work well together'. From our point of view you & the Intel team working

Hi,
I thought it would be appropriate for me to introduce myself. I work
for Canonical as the technical lead on Ubuntu Mobile. We are
currently working on bringing Hildon and the osso-* libraries into
Ubuntu proper. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MobileAndEmbedded has a bit
more information.
