Chris: I use my Treo 700p with Sprint all the time. It makes a great combination. The treo for email and connectivity solution, and the n800 for the heavy lifting when the 700p browser won't cut it. On 10/31/07, Brian Litzinger [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: On Wed, Oct 31, 2007 at 11:33:17AM

Problem with maemo-mapper on N770

2007-11-01 Thread Magnus Larsson
Hi! I have a N770 with OS2007 Hacker Edition. I decided to try the maemo mapper for a journey. I could install it, but when downloading map repositories (the default open rep was installed, and it prompted me to download repositories), it crashed, and I could not restart it. So i did apt-get

Hi, yes, that is the procedure which worked for me with maemo-mapper on the OS2007HE. When I run the OS2007 one from the command line, I got an illegal instruction error. That may be explained easily, because the N800 uses a different instruction set architecture version from ARM than the

Magnus, fwiw, I was having similar problems in mm after upgrading to 2007he. After tinkering I found a reformat of the flash card was what cleared things up. Brad ___ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@maemo.org
