FM radio on N800 running OS2008?

Hi! Now that OS2008 is officially available for our N800 (even if it's a beta, thanks to people at Maemo and Nokia!), could anyone here let me know whether or not the FM radio applet is available and working on OS2008 running on the N800? TIA. I use it every day, so... -- Laurent, Nantes (F

Hello, Been playing with the beta. Looks awesome! Great work... the changes to make the GUI fit the form factor are very very nice... The development of the GUI over the OS releases would be a good case study for some Interaction/UI students. :) Cheers -- Nick Loeve __

Bug in Maps application

Hi, according to Wayfinder website http://www.wayfinder.com/?id=5365&lang=en-US Nokia is supposed to support "Maps" application shipped with IT2008. Unfortunately, there is no such component in Maemo bugzilla ATM. Until this is fixed, here is a nice bug report for Maps application : -this applic

Mike, its the OS2008 on the N800 faster because of software redesign or has the hardware been reconfigured by means of a different software setting to run at a higher speed than OS2007? I would assume the former but I am not familiar with the details of the N800 processor. Best Regards, Jo

The only gotcha's I'm finding are, 1. xterm is kinda borked. You can only change background color via the gui now and they moved the "text buttons" from the right to the bottom which means that if you are using the keyboard and editing a file it's barely usable in that 60% of the screen is n
