modest persistence

Hi, I tried modest (great!)... is there a way to move the persistence directory where account's cache and headers are stored? i.e. on the memory cards? TIA, Paolo. P.S. a workaround could be create a symbolic link on the fs, but I think it's not the better way to do this. -- GPG key: 1024D/9

Thanks Pit - I am sure you are right, but some of the apps I installed insisted on me making Bora repositories available and would not install without them. Heaven knows which ones - I guess I should start uninstalling them to find out (is that the only way?) I accept I am living on the bleeding

Hi, I see I followed the same way ;-) In one point I had to reinstall my OS2008 and I decided to create dual boot solution. Especially I had problem with my battery life and I was pretty sure it must be some application not being written properly. So I re-flashed my N800 and started experimenting

Does anyone know if video4linux is fully supported under the N800? I have some code which I am planning to port which is an attempt at a cross-platform video capture API (I know , the holy grail of software but it seems to work ok under linux, win32 and OSX) - The linux version uses video4linux

Here's a thought (not a quick solution) - there are a lot of us who use the iGo Stowaway. I've written a couple of times to iGo to develop a map for the Stowaway. If enough folks on this list write and pester them, maybe they'll consider it a market worthy of playing in for real and develop prope
