Hi all,
I recently migrated a bunch of content from the old maemo wiki to the
new wiki, but apart from some minor clean-ups, I didn't revisit the
content at all.
We now need to clean up that content, bring it up to date, and imporve
the general standards. That means:

Be careful with these, as they're likely to cause a reboot loop if you
have the wrong repositories installed (rtcomm beta, mainly, SDK
repository in the past).

If you just let it sit there, it should finally fail and tell you what

Or use apt-get update from the command line and see what errors out.

invariably stalls before completion, and I have to cancel and try at
least 3 times, often more, before it finally successfully completes.

Strange, but in su-8w config file doesn't exist a portuguese/spanish
configuration. I think it is using intl layout.
I wrote a post [1] describing how to get accents working, and
proposing a fix.

OK. For this you need to install kernel-diablo-modules-extra. If you
do this first, the modules should load automatically when you install
nfs-common.

Navit uses openstreet and garmin maps in vector graphics. See
www.tecdencia.net/navit for the maemo port, it's alpha version but
works pretty well.
