How do I clear out the orphans - like reset the logic behind it so the

Hi,
There are several problems today with mariadb, some more serious than
others:
Firstly, (a minor problem) the log file:
Jan 3 14:04:34 jimmy mysqld_safe[10642]: 120103 14:04:34 mysqld_safe
Logging to '/var/log/mysqld/mysqld.log'.
Jan 3 14:04:34 jimmy mysqld_safe[10642]: 120103 14:04:34
I guess a lot of them are suggested by other packages, rather than required.

Hi
I've uploaded in core/updates_testing a new ldetect, using libkmod instead
of libmodprobe. I've also fixed several memleaks.
There you'll find a drakxtools rebuild for this new libldetect.
This result in:
- faster lspcidrake
- using quite less RAM ; eg on my test machine:
o harddrake2 uses

Is there people still using PPP at install time (stage1, not the
graphical stage2)?
That is eg: booting boot.iso and selecting ppp/adsl after being
