This looks to fail if license info is not enabled in the config as there
are a bunch of js calls expecting certain elements to be present in the
form that are not there.
I've added some js to check if the elements exist before trying to
access them

I can replicate the issue on the latest master on a fresh db. Aaron's
patch worked for me fixing the issue.

Hi Robert,
I just checked with the latest version of master (since 2471 has been
merged in). I was still able to replicate the problem, in FF23 and
Chromium.

I just took a look at this with Robert L, using his computer to access
my Mahara instance. Doing so, he was able to replicate the issue,
although he still couldn't replicate it with the instance running on his
computer.
So it would appear that this doesn't affect all installations. There was

I'm unable to replicate this issue. I tried following the steps above
with a text box newly added to a page in both FF 23 and Chromium 28
using both master branch and master branch +
