Many utility hadoop jobs (including Dictionary Vectorizer) needs utils to
zipset everything into a job
Two ways to go about it
have utils job like examples job
include utils classes in examples job
I am thinking of choosing the latter as it will act as single point launch
for anything in mahout
Nice one, that works like a charm. I just published.

I'm on 10.6.2 and did the following:

Note, you will have to redirect the symbolic links that point 1.4/1.5 to 1.6
to point to the appropriate things. The links on my site are to tarballs for

Some more Wild and Wacky Ideas. Might be out of scope for GSOC, but are nice
to have features for mahout. I would like to encourage all of you to put

Unless I'm missing something the conclusion was you still can't do
this on OS X 10.6. It only includes Java 6, and Forrest doesn't work
with Java 6 (think it's an XML parser issue). I don't know of any
reasonably clean way to get Java 5 on the machine. The installer
doesn't work.

You need to generate the site and copy to the publish directory.

Say, I'm not sure that last publish took hold -- my update isn't live
on the site at the moment. It's not a big deal, but, if the kind folks
who pushed the Forrest button last time (I'm on a Mac so can't do it)
could try one more time I'd appreciate it.

Nothing that I see as ready to go into 0.3.

It is. What would be needed is adjusting our pom and the Hudson job
that builds the reports.
