this problem wasn't caused by filter rules.

@address with @xxx.
As far as I can see, there's no cc in here. As i said in my original
message, we're running Mailman 2.1.5 on OS X 10.4. We have set
require_explicit_destination to Yes and acceptable_aliases is blank.
It could be that the admin has a filter rule in place that duplicates
the mail and makes it look like it is sent twice.
