I suggest that you setup a webform to mail to your list - an
unadvertised webform (advertised only via your list). Make sure you
hard-code the To: in the webform so that it only mails to your list.

that I need to migrate to Mailman. I've poured through the archives,
and google looking for what should be a fairly simple python script (I
believe) but, being that I don't program in python (as to yet) I have

There are times when I want to set an attribute on a whole bunch of mailing lists en
masse. I tried to write a withlist script to do this, but it only works when the

No, it looks as though Hostway offers Unix *and* Weendows hosting.
Joe, it depends on what your hosting provider can offer you. Mailman works
on Unix-based systems, but needs to be installed on their server by them,
not on your home computer. (Unless you're running a home server?)

for the first time and I have questions about sending and replying
options. I have a monthly newsletter that I want to send to a list of
200 subscribers. However, I do not want them to be able to see
each others email addresses nor do I want them to be able to "reply to

Is your mail running gid 1? Did you compile with the --with-mail-gid set to
1?

I have recently moved a list I host from Yahoo to my site. It is a high volume mail list (we are expecting a total of about 200 people to switch over).
The biggest complaint is about the headers and footers on digest and the archives. Is there anyway to clean those up??
