others here call “being salty”, I remain a fan and user of a level
that works for my needs, presently experimental build 1.14 (r5978). If
anyone needs a more stable product, recommend you try the latest test
build, r59

Just a quick update on this. This is still true, and I'm working hard to get
back to something usable. Right now, my own build of MailMate is even worse
than r5978. Some times

You can download all releases directly from the website but I'm personally
sticking with 5964.
