This was fixed in Maestro in r3862.
The problem is that the default value is actually "0.5", but the XSD was
missing
the default value, so Maestro thinks the default is "0".
When you set the value to "0", its the default, and thus omitted.
Same goes for MaintainAspect, but that one has the corr

I'm using FWTools in combination with GnuWin32. Incredibly handy, and almost
feels like I'm on linux...
In my case, I processed each of my as-delivered TIFF+wld files as follows using
a batch file I called for each image (^ is line continuation):

Can you confirm if your TIFF files are tiled tiff? If they aren't then the
system will be slow as it converts them on the fly.
How many tiles should be shown at the 1:2000 scale? I'm guessing this should
only be a small subset and hence it should be quick.
I think Stefan's suggestion is a good
There is a MySQL provider as well you could use. The problem is still similar.
You need to have the required font support (code page/language stuff) installed
on the server.
If you don't have a .cpg file you could create it by simply Googling the
codepage for your language and saving the value
Hi,
I was creating point style layers on my local machine and also on a server.
Both are running Mapguide 2.1 Beta. I noticed that when I was trying to
parse the XML of a (single point style) layer I had created in Maestro, was
that on my local machine the XML looked fine and contained the XML:
Hi Jürgen
One of the options may be to merge together files.
I have an image, 32000x16000 tiled RGB tiff, 1.7GB in size which is

server, with 1.5 GB of RAM.
Software configuration - same as yours.
By merging rasters you can r
Hi,
I have a problem with a rasterlayer (not tiled).
It is a layer using about 1000 TIFF-Files (RGB, 3000x3000 pixel, scale 1:1000).
The visibility of the layer is 1:100 to 1:5000.
If I load the map (sacle 1:2000) I get the error: Out of memory. bad allocation.
If I reduce the number of tiff-files

Dave,
Obviously not a silly question as I DIDN'T install the .NET Web

I think you have a broken repository.
I think you are using Maestro 1.0.9 release.
That version reads all the resource headers at startup.
This has the sideeffect that it will activate all headers,
and give errors like the one below if there is a corrupt header.
If you try the latest preview ver
