This was fixed in Maestro in r3862. The problem is that the default value is actually "0.5", but the XSD was missing the default value, so Maestro thinks the default is "0". When you set the value to "0", its the default, and thus omitted. Same goes for MaintainAspect, but that one has the corr

Can you confirm if your TIFF files are tiled tiff? If they aren't then the system will be slow as it converts them on the fly. How many tiles should be shown at the 1:2000 scale? I'm guessing this should only be a small subset and hence it should be quick. I think Stefan's suggestion is a good

There is a MySQL provider as well you could use. The problem is still similar. You need to have the required font support (code page/language stuff) installed on the server. If you don't have a .cpg file you could create it by simply Googling the codepage for your language and saving the value
