Hi,
It seems that Maestro validates all layers in Maestro when the map is saved.
This makes sense but when you are working with a map that contains many
layers it can become very time consuming making the smallest change to the
map.
I would like to suggest an option to turn of validation when savi
there is an option already i believe?

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunally was this also my first intention but this does not work because of
our data structure.
I think that i have to get starting the semi-complicated way.

Hello all,
i have a problem which one of you may have got in touch with.
I have set in the Maestro a Shape by a Shape folder. Afterwards i created the
different Layers by pointing on the created shape.
Now i have some changes in the shp-Files like some new or changed columns.
If i open the Laye
you just need to resave or flush the featuresource in mastro,
the schema info is cached, hence your problem

Ok i got some improvement here.
I turned off validation on saving. Afterwards i opened the layer and looked at
the columns(layer properties visible in viewer). The new columns were inserted
correctly but the deleted ones were not deleted in the layer.
So I tried to purge the cache. After getting
I have come to think this is a bug for the query builder as i was able to
replicate the same issue in maestro 4.0 (was using AIMS Studio 2012 before).
i guess its not possible to send a string trough the query builder then.
