If your Oracle client is in a directory other than your MapGuide or FDO
installation I usually set the following:
PATH, ORACLE

If you use the Dependency Walker on the dll's on the old machine, you can see
what files it references.
You can then guess what you need to
nt ?!???!
Checked PATH variable, all good.
So, am a bit confused and starting to feel a little dumb. :(

I'm no Oracle expert, so I can only say that I usually install an
"instant client" on the machine,
and it works after that.

I don't have Oracle Client installed. The Oracle database is on the same host,
do I need to install the client or just copy some DLLs to some MGOS location?

That usually happens when MapGuide fails to load the provider.
The usual cause for this is a missing dll dependency (did you install
the oracle client?).
To resolve it, try opening the SL-King dll with DependencyWalker,
or run MapGuide in commandline mode.

Problem with KingOracle connection...
I was moving my MGOS from an old server to a new one. Both have the same OS
(Win2008 x64) with the same MGOS 2.0.2 and KingOracle 0.8.5.
On the old server everything works great, but on the new, I have problems.
