We've built a BS7666 Address/Property Gazetteer. For our address matching
needs we used OmniData by InfoShare
www.infoshare.ltd.uk , very easy and quick to use. Recommend it for large
text files as the processing is pretty fast for whats going on behind the
scenes.

the trick is in opening the original map windows off-

then combining them after they are open

As of MapX 3.51 there is a Layer method called FeatureIDFromFeatureName.
With this, you can enter in the Feature's Name property that you're looking
for, and it will return the FeatureID. I don't think this is on the MapX
