Hi Folks,
I am writing a program that identifies pairs of radiotelemetry locations

I know, I'll take the next two days off!

Listers,
We are frequently sent CAD drawings drafted in local coordinate systems. I'd

All:
We were told that MapX 4 does not support MID/MIF imports and it is crucial to an
application we are building. I had heard that someone had written code for Map X 3 to
do that function, but haven't see anything new.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well yes there is a simple way to do what you want. In a mapper window,
make your table editable, and select your 2 non-object records - put them
in a separate browser. Now pick (select) one of them, go to map, pick a
point-making tool (with a symbol that you like) and mark it where it belongs.

Thanks again for the assistance. Popular consensus was to run a SQL Query to
find the non
geocode points. Then put the mapper (with streets table) and browser side by
side. Add and make it editable the layer with the geocode points. Then, in
the browser, select one row, making sure it stays select

David,
By chance, was your workspace created on another computer? If so, depending on how
the workspace file was transferred (especially if had been copied onto a CD-ROM), the
file properties might be set to read-only, which would preclude MapInfo from updating
the worspace file.
