I can only agree with the others that have commented on MBC. It is
something that MapInfo should have done with MB years ago but then if they
had I'm sure we would have been charged an astronomic fee for the privilege.

take a look at the utility CalcDist.mbx on Directions mag site, I think it
will do what you want.

Some time ago i read and implimented a entry in the registry which a map
window to be pasted without the border. Can anyone remind me of the Key
where this can be set?

I've had this problem before but never had a satisfactory answer from anyone
(users MapInfo tech.). What I have found out is that if you set the scale
in the layout to 1:1001 or if it's 1:500 set it to 1:501 it will normally
come come out near enough as makes no difference. Also
