MI Programming

1999-08-20 Thread Fraser Gardiner
I use Mapinfo a lot but I'd like to expand my skills base and learn a bit of programming. Where do I start? Any recommendations / suggestions..? Also, any beginners courses on programming or databases in London during October? Cheers, Fraser Gardiner Navan, Bulgaria 87 James Boucher St,

The best resources for learning are looking at, and tweaking, code written by others. Take a look at the code in the Samples directory, and the KGM utilities (downloadable from the MapInfo-L file archives at http://www.directionsmag.com/mapinfo-l/), as well as many other mapbasic sources there.
