All that good stuff is in MapBasic. It's not mentioned in the MapInfo docs, but it's fully described in the MapBasic ones. Using MapBasic to enhance the jobs you do in MapInfo is like attaching jets to your skateboard. That little old mapbasic window has got a lot of power in it for those who know
