Marie If you have split your access database so that all the tables live in the mdb file, then MapInfo will not need to talk to the mde file at all. Simply create the MAP_CATALOGUE in the mdb file. Essentially, MapInfo and the mde files are applications accessing data in the mdb file. This

Chris: Don't know if this is the problem, but check the bounds on the tables involved. The larger the Minimum Boundary Rectangle (MBR), the less precision. There may be other ways to find the MBR for a table, but if you export it as a MID/MIF, then open the MIF in a text editor, you can see
