Dear all,
I have developed a MapXtreme application that is part of a larger =
project.
The application is part of a chain. It receives parameters from another =
application in the form of an URL string, performs some geographic =
calculations and writes the responses down into a txt file. In

Well... we allready have MapXtreme running on the server, so I guess its ok
for us :-)
Anyway, I don't see the nessesity to implement MapXtreme for this projec

The Greenwhich Observatroy has a graphic with these boundaries - I can't
remember what format it's in (may have been PostScript).

I'll also offer up a Red Hen Systems MapInfo Professional 6.x tool for
modeling response time. Its named "Travel-Time" and is an example
integration of several MapCalc spatial tools integrating MapInfo

Hey all,
I get a really annoying message every time I open workspaces with grids, =
as one of the layers: "Invalid Grid Size". =20
We have two machines working on the same files. We made some really =
nice DEMs. The problem is that I get a really annoying message every =

Does anyone know of an application that will convert VM grids to USGG =
DEM's. Would FME do this??

Thank you all who have forwarded sources or data for
the World Time Zones. However, of the many I have
recieved, none yet have exactly what I need.
The important aspect of the data is to be able to
display or view the zone boundary lines themselves on
the map. Of all the sources found, the map d

Hi List,
A question that deviates somewhat from the "MapInfo-ness" of this list,
but perhaps some of you out there might be able to offer some
advice/thoughts...
Has anyone had experience with the EQuiS environmental data management

Hello all,
I am a relatively new MapInfo user and my question may prove quite simple. I
am working on a river catchment study, and want to use MapInfo to allow a
user to click on a point of interest and be able to bring up information
from 5-6 different layers within a 1km radius e.g. geology, so
Hi Ben,
The use of the the variable in your select-statement is correct, I think the
problem is in the use of "run command letter".
If it's suppose to rename your selection to "AZ_" + chr$(var_x) just for the
purpose of saving it, you could also use something like

Hi List,
This bit of code is supposed to go through a road
layer and seperate (alphabetically) into seperate temp
files. I am then going to write these temp files to a
html file.
At the moment, it gets stuck at the select
statement...and is unhappy with Letter var (which
returns A%, B%, C%, etc.

Try to search the MI-L archieves. Someone out there is able to do it, if
you can prove, that the code belongs to you.
