CJ, if you are trying to pick out different object types in a table, like Text, lines, regions etc. you can set that up in the Select dialog. The value you are looking for would be typed in as such: str$(obj)="Text" or str$(obj)="Line" the object types you can choose from are Line, Polyline, Text,
