How do you convert old unprojected map files to AGD66? I may be wrong but I believe you cannot convert unprojected map files to any other datum. When you use FileSave Copy As... of a lat-long unprojected table (no datum) to a lat-long with a datum, it simply substitutes or associates the table

MI-L Unique_id

I am running MapInfo 4.1, no Mapbasic. I have a table containing thousands of records. I would like to add a field called UNIQUE_ID ( I know how to do this part) and populate it. How can this be done? I would like it to go 1,2,3,4, etc. Can this be performed through the MapBasic window?
