I'm looking for a layer for MapInfo (could be an ESRI shape file) that shows all
current USA Zip Code boundaries. Prefereably for free. Thanks in advance!

Hi all
Can I make a polyline(raod) in a new table and then the MI to put number
along the road to get a number every 20 meters. This would help me
figure out the address range for this specific road.
TIA

I believe this comes standard with your MI Pro. At least, it did with my MI
Pro 7.0 copy.
try Data/map_data/map_data/Namerca/USA/Usa_Maps/USZIPBDY.TAB

version. I downloaded the pieces i needed from the census 2000 website. Thanks for
all your prompt responses! :) I hope this does the trick.

Frank,
Your best bet is probably Scaled Vector Graphics (SVG). This is becoming an
excellent way to view spatial data using only a browser such as Internet
Explorer or Netscape, using a freely available plugin from Adobe or Corel.
I've been a MapInfo user for over 10 years now, but have decided
Hi Ben,
My guess would be that these symbols are so tightly integrated in the MapInfo code
that they can't be dumped altogether. Besides, a
vast amount of data relies on these symbols, so just removing it would break too many
things.
The 3.0 compatable font is tied to the file MAPINFOW.FNT,
Hello all!
Does anyone have and free literature concerning how to perform the
'predictive analysis' within Vertical Mapper 3.0? The help file is a bit
vague and I don't have
too much time for trial and error.
Thanks for your effort ahead of time!!

I had this on one of our machines that updates a table many times per
day.in the end, we deleted the table and replaced it with one from
another machine, and all was fine.

Hi Josh,
You may wish to have a look at MI-SDM (www.avantra.com.au/mi-sdm.htm), which
performs predictive spatial modelling, primarily for natural resource uses
(exploration, environmental, agricultural etc).
MI-SDM is fully integrated into MapInfo Professional. It offers a range of
