Is anyone able to recommend a program to manage workspaces. Specifically to search
and replace path and file names, and layer names, in a batch mode. I've heard Empower
Workspace Manager is effective but I am having trouble getting hold of it.

Mapper can clip Geotiffs using a vector boundary.
A little more research on my part turned up a much cheaper and good
alternative: Didger from Golden Software. A quick demo of the product
shows that it works very quick

Everyone may already know about this, but I'm able to repeat it over and

I have used ER Mapper for this type of raster editing operation - in it you can draw a
polygon around the tile areas you want to clip, you can set the null pixels to any
value from 0-255 (to make it a specific shade of grey or a colour that isnt in the
image), then make pixels of that value
I'm fairly new at working with editing geotiff images, and I have a
question regarding "clipping" them to geographic boundaries:
I need to make all the pixels in the geotiff that fall outside a vector
boundary a uniform color, such as black. What software can I use to do

window more than once in the same session? Both will result in the error.
If it's because you are trying to save the window multiple times in the same

If you are only concerned with the appearance of the objects, I have done
this for a logo I produced in MI. Set target on the largest one, then use
the next smaller one to erase with, etc until you have a stack of "donuts".
Irregardless of drawing order, they all will appear.

Int() function has one undocumented feature - it can convert boolean
(logical) statements into integer values (returns 1 of TRUE, 0 if FALSE).
With use of it you can rewrite your code into something like this:
Update mytable set X = (Int(A
