Does anyone know what the differences are between the OGC Simple Feature Geometry definitions for POLYGON vs. MULTIPOLYGON? (Other than the extra parentheses?) My guess is that a POLYGON has an outside border and zero or more interior cut outs (i.e. lakes), but if you have two non-overlapping
