Dear List
Thank you to all those who replied to my plea - Thanks particularly to Peter
who suggested that I look again at the 52 rows and try to work out what I have
- he gave a fantastic list of checks which I will keep and refer to!! Such a
stupid error on my part - I was grouping the rows i
Dear list,
My Mapinfo session crashes each time I try to pan/zoom any ecw image after
placing a custom symbol (either self made or a MI supplied one). Have tried
ordinary symbols, no problem. Also no problem with custom symbols over a jpg or
bmp image. Reloading MI did not help either. Does anyo
Dear List
Does anyone know an SQL command that would allow me to select an array of
different codes within the same column. The codes are W, P, S, H, R, C, M, E,

I realise I can select these individually and then append the tables but I was
hoping there would be a quicker way.

Hi everyone,
This is probably pretty simple, but I need some help. I have just
received a road network that has listed address ranges associated with

I work with Access and MI opened at the same time, sharing Access db's
with both. I don't make changes to the db's using Access, but I do with
MI. The changes are reflected on the reports I have in Access based on
those db's, but the db has to be saved after making changes in MI, and
the report has

I want to create an mbx to remind my other co-workers to put a scale bar
in the layout.
Here is my vision. Either the user does a Ctrl+P to Print or File->Print.
A message box will pop up saying "Did you put a Scale Bar in the Layout?"
The user then clicks the cancel button to disreg

I've been using Mapinfo intercatively with Access on a project for mapping
the geology of an open cut mine. Some things are much more easily entered
in Mapinfo whilst other queries and data updates are better handled by
Access. The Access data is also used by other mining software. I have
Bill,
perhaps you would be better to use an ODBC link to the access databases in
your case, so that you can avoid issues with table packing etc. If you
also link to your Access data from a forms/ report only Access database,
you will separate your data from the applications completely, and
