Hi Jesús!
Thanks for answering, but I am sorry to say that it did not solve the problem.
I have tried using file:// and file:///. Both works just fine when it comes to
linking to the document itself (think it even works without file:/// too). The
problem is still there though, it cuts the

I've not used it, but the Oracle training manual says this:
The SDO_GEOM.SDO_LENGTH function is an overloaded function that calculates
the length of a line segment or the length of the perimeter of a polygon.
The first parameter is an object of type SDO_GEOMETRY. This object can come

I notice that MapInfo does not contain a section listing German
Coordinate Systems. Could someone please let me know what projections
are used by German MapInfo users. ED50 would seem to be one option
except the y coordinates would be very large.

ED50 would seem to be one option except the y coordinates would be very

the Y component (northing) of a Grid System.

Hi,
German topographische Karten use the Gauss-Krüger projection which is
included in MapInfo. The problem is that there are two different variants
in MapInfo. I don't know which one is the right one.

Hi all,
I may have missed older discussion on this, but as of right now, is there a
solution for incorporating an ArcSDE data source directly into a
MapXtreme.NET application?
Thanks!

Hi listers,
I'm trying to get rid of MapBasic as code editor so I'm now testing UltraEdit.
As I read in old threads, I created a batch file (MBX_comiler.bat) in the
MapBasic.EXE directory:
@Echo off
start/wait MAPBASIC.EXE -NOSPLASH -D %1.mb
if exist %1.err type %1.err
After, I wrote this
You are doing missing the point I guess - or should I say the backslash ;-)
This is what you have written as the command line in UltraEdit:
D:Program FilesMapInfoMI_Compile.bat %p%n
I guess it should be like this:
D:\Program Files\MapInfo\MBX_Compiler.bat %p%n
or at least it should be the name
Anyone out there in MapInfo-L land know how to read (and more
importantly) write to the ETAK .MBS file format?
