I solved the problem with help from Uffe, Peter, David and
Martin.
Setting MapInfo not to save MapInfo.wor at the end of each session the
first time you start MapInfo after the installation AND not unchecking
"Load MapInfo.wor at startup" seems to produce this error. MapInfo can
Hi,
MapInfo 7.8 added the ability to split a polyline at a selected
node.
Splitter will - as far as I remember - split a selected editable polyline
if you click closer than 1 meter to a node on it. So to be sure, turn on snap
and make sure that you snap a node before using it

I’ve

Title: Zoom Layering
Stu,
I guess you'll have to ask the MapperWindow for the current zoom and then
compare that with the zoom of the layer:
Set Distance Units "m" 'or "mi" or "km" or whatever you
want
fZoom = MapperInfo(sMapWinID, MAPPER_INFO_ZOOM)
fZoomMin = LayerInfo(sMapWinID, sLaye
Group.
Can you do a
"hotlink" to a web site using MapInfo Anysite? Like in MapInfo
Pro?

One option is the offset command which creates parallel lines, but when used on a polyline they can switch sides depending on its alignment.
An alternative would be to create a buffer around the route, convert it into a polyline and then use polyline split.
