[MI-L] infotool for bitmaps?

Hello list, I am working in MI 8.0 with a lot of geo-referenced bitmaps. When working with vector-files you can use the info-tool to see the name of the layer. For bitmaps is this info-tool not working. Does anyone know if there is a mapbasic tool for this? Thanks! Met vriendelijke groet,
