Has anyone had good success in opening a MySQL table in MapInfo and
creating points, using the MyODBC driver?
I've gotten a table open, but been unable to create points. I can
browse the table just fine.

handling is much tighter and more reliable than 95/98. I feel MapInfo
runs faster and more stable under the NT subsystem than the Windows95/98
system, with drastically fewer crashes and problems.
