MI-L elevation data from autocad-map

the ".dwg" file in MIF format from autocad, the associated MID file does not preserve any elevation values. Does anyone have any experience getting elevation data out of AutoCad and into MapInfo? Thanks in advance Cheers Ken Hickey

I have MapInfo 6.5 set up on my Win2000 machine have no problem changing setting etc only logged in as a power user. Under v6.5 settings for each user are stored in their own C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Local Settings\Application Data\MapInfo folder,.
