Todd, Are you using the 'theme legend' for the window or the 'legend' for
the window? I have had problems with the 'theme legend' not showing
everything, but the 'legend' window works fine.

when I delete or move one node from one object. I don't understand why
this is happening. I was never able to do this before. Can I turn
something off to make it stop?

object? I
will have over 50 tables with as many as 3000 polygons in each table. Is
there a way to update the columns without using a centroid based solution?

I may have underestimated the time some, but it should and would not take
weeks or months and have all of the lawsuits and such. I would use census
blocks or block groups. Determine how many people are in the state. Find
out how many districts to create. Divide to get a pop. per district to
state. It
would be so simple, yet the politicians will never do something the easy
way. Just wanted to vent. Have a good day.

I am getting the occasional 'Can't save workspace', but I am on NT with MI
6.0. I immediately click on save workspace again (in same folder) and then
it saves. Only once have I had to do it twice in a row. That's my 2 cents
worth.

You can do it several ways. You can go to the street browser and select
individual streets(or multiple streets using the control key. You can make
the street layer your top layer and then use the various select tools to
select whatever you want.

Anitra, Mapinfo makes a very good and very fast geocoder. I currently use
Mapmarker Plus. The one drawback is that it is VERY pricey.

you can also sort by using the 'order by column'
and the 'group by column'
This will return a area value for each small
region that intersects with the big region. I hope this helps.

A bowtie is a self intersecting polygon. Like a figure 8 or like a bowtie.
You can spot them in a polygon because the region will have an extra line
where it should not be.
