1: No but if you parse the argument as a string - like, ABC;true,
ABC;false or ABC; your function can then test the different valuse
2 and 3: In version 7 you can actualy place a Map in a Control using the
"Control DocumentWindow" thake a look at the sampelcode for the
NORTHARROW.MBX

set coordsys table MyTabName
update MyTabName set obj = CreateLine(start_x, starty, end_x, end_y)
and voila, you get your line

Set table myTab Fastedit on
Update myTab set obj = Buffer(obj, 24, -100, "m")
commit table mytab
The set Table... command speed up the proces - but you can revert the
change if somthing is wrong
