Hi Christine
In supplement to Uffes answer you could also use this:
Str$(Val(YourField)) in and update column statement or even in a SQL query
like this:
Table1.YourField1=Str$(Val(Table2.YourField2))
This will permanently or temporarily remove the "00"m problem.

Hi Ken
You´ll have to use the "Run Program" Command like this:
Run Program "C:\program files\.\adobe\AcroRd32.exe MyPDFfile.PDF"
Maybee you can omit the path and executable and just specify your PDF file.
Try it out.

Yes it´s because you have compiled it as version 6.5.
Search Directionsmag site or the internet for the tool "MBXVer.exe". It can

Hi Steve
You just have to use the SelectionInfo function in MapBasic.
If SelectionInfo(SEL_INFO_NROWS) returns zero then nothing is selected.
Remember to include "MapBasic.def" into your .mb file to get the
"SEL_INFO_NROWS" to work or else use SelectionInfo(3) instead.
as String
Username=UserOnline()
and the insert Username into your layout as a textstring (See MB manual for
the syntax)
