I would like to create a line object within mapbasic then get the xy
coordinates along that line based on a set distance (ie every 5 meters return
the x y coordinate).
any help is appreciated

I have a problem creating lines from tabular data. I have an excel
table with 5 columns ID, X, Y, X_2, Y_2. I import it into MapInfo and then
save copy it as a new table. I open the new table, set it mappable and set
the projection correctly. The coordinates are in float format.
