Hi all
Can anybody explain while a certain MapBasic 5 program, which compiled fine
up to now, suddenly doesn't produce an executable anymore? It compiles fine
(no error reported), but only an *.mbo file is created, no *.mbx. The file
is rather big (including several functions etc.), so I won't
Daniel,
The creation of an MBO goes hand in hand with creating
project files. If your program contains calls to
functions/procedures that are not in your code,
mapbasic cannot compile the program and assumes its
part of a project file and therefore builds the MBO
(object file).
My advice would

Has anyone else found that activating SNAP on a map window slows down the
messages sent to the SetStatusText method on the callback object? It doesn't
seem to make the same difference in an ordinary Pro session.
We're using MI 6.

is because the Map (and Mapinfo) has not the focus, but is there a
way to set the snap on/off despite where the last click was in the
application ?
Regards
Alejandro.

All,
I am afraid I have a new problem to submit to your attention. I haven't
found any mention of it in the list archives.
On two of our machines, MapInfo is experiencing serious display problems.
Although it prints fine, the layout is all black and white. All, or
sometime some, of the background
