Hi Dan I have a 2GHz CPU and 1GB of RAM. There is no way to speed up ArcGIS as far as I tried (idexed everything etc.) and even with relatively small datasets (such as a few 100'000 objects), it's just SLOW. Exactly the same data in MapInfo goes "@ the speed of light" :-) ... Mit freundlichem
