worked great and the project is done. And, Dale, I received the access code
for FME yesterday, entered it this morning, and successfully translated
files. I will be issuing a Purchase Order this morning.

Note that AutoCAD 2004 format is still not supported by any translator
utilities, including the latest version of FME. As far as I know, the only
way to translate these files is to use AutoCAD 2004 and export in an earlier
version. The next version of FME will have the ability to translate 2004
f
tions besides FME that can convert from Dwg to Tab.

Application versioning is critical when translation (importing) data.
If you have an option with the suppliers of the data, I would say first request that
the DWG files are supplied in AutoCad version 12 format to suite your MapInfo version
5.5
