We also need to promote the campaigns more. People need to blog about it, maybe we can ask some journalists to help us by writing about it, we can use our Google Adsense account, etc. Other than here on the marketing list and on the header of gnome.org, I haven't seen it mentioned any where ...

And it misses a more tangible goal than just the number of subscriptors IMO. Something like "2 new hackfests this year" or whatever. Obviously the money won't be used exclusively on that, but it helps understand why we want money, besides "because it's money". On Wed, Jan 26, 2011 at 5:36 PM, Sto
