Nordic 32 model

Dear all, I wonder if there exists a Nordic 32 model implemented in MatPower and if you can share this with us. The description of the original system can be found in CIGRE TF 38-02-08. https://www.google.no/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=4&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CDMQFjADahUKEwjQk8yy5N_IAhVJE

You can obtain the Nordic 32 description in PSS/E v31 raw format from Bjorn Karlsson thesis here ( http://www.diva-portal.org/smash/get/diva2:658793/FULLTEXT01.pdf), and then use MATPOWER's conversion routine psse2mpc. Regards, -- Jose L. Marin Gridquant España SL Grupo AIA On Mon, Oct 26, 20

Nonzero shadow prices for non-binding constraints

Dear all, I am implementing a search for the maximum loadability limit using an OPF with dispatchable loads in Matpower. To model PV buses, I set generator voltage set points as upper limits for the voltage magnitude at generator buses and set the lower voltage limits at a low number (0.1 for e

Hi Florian, This is very strange. Just curious if Olaf or Drosos from the PARDISO project are able to reproduce the issue or give you any insight into what is causing this? Ray > On Oct 25, 2015, at 9:40 AM, Florian Schaefer > wrote: > > Dear Mr. Zimmerman, > > I tried to install the

Without more information about your setup, I’m afraid it’s a bit difficult to say exactly how to accomplish what you want. The case30() function included in MATPOWER is a simple case file that does not take any arguments. It seems as if you are probably attempting to update some capacitor and tr

Hi Florian, Which cpp code (matlabmatrix.cpp sparsematrix.cpp pardisoinfo.cpp pardisofree.cpp) are you using? The IPOPT-PARDISO binaries from http://pardiso-project.org/index.php?p=manual Matpower Libraries: Ipopt 3.12.1 (extended version), PARDISO 5.1.0 (threaded version) work fine in Matpo

Re: Nonzero shadow prices for non-binding constraints

Good question. Because the interior point solver does not explicitly define binding vs. non-binding constraints in the solution, any such classification must be done based on numerical tolerances. I’m pretty sure the intent of that code was to only zero out the shadow prices (i.e. mark the const
