Easy CD-DA Extractor (http://www.poikosoft.com/cdda/) seems to be
able to do what you want theorically but in my experiences (i try to do
the same) it makes Windows crash (i use W2K)

but it's old, dirty and cheap and sometimes cannot read some cds...
what i wondered is if there would be a difference in the sound quality
? maybe bcz of the optical outputs' quality or the DACs' ???
