Is this a problem with the "numerical dispersion" and that ultra-

Or is this far above what you would expect, and the simulation is
not converged in some other way? Does anyo

So, should I do synchronization of fields when I use add-flux

No, the Fourier transforms in add-flux automatically multiply the
fields by the phase for the correct times; no synchronization is needed.

hello Dear Steven and Meep users
Up to now, I have run Meep for photonic crystals with square lattice and the
results are the same as the MPB.
I have tried to do this method for hexagonal lattice. computational cell is
a rectangle with size of a*(a*sqrt(3)) with a cylinder at its center and
four o
Good mornig,
I'm an italian student and I'm simulating some properties of quasicrystals.
I'd want to compute the efield distribution in some geometry (two slabs of
quasicrystal) and later to use the distribution as a initial condition (like
a source) for a second simulation with a different geomet
Hi meep users,
I have two sources in my structure.
One of them is Ez field, the other one is Hz field.
I want to get fluxes with add-flux function.
In wiki page, fields are synchronized automatically in flux-in-box and
field-energy-in-box routines. But I am using add-flux function to get
fluxes.
