It's all about quality control, does some factory in Taiwan have the same
quality control systems in place as a genuine supplier to DC? I don't think
so and if you end up with the one in a 1000 filter that is faulty you are
going to be might annoyed.

To remove the ashtray assembly, take out the ashtray door and container
(I think it has a spring clip at the rear, push down, rotate to clear
the top, lift out), then remove the two screws at the bottom that are
covered by the ashtray when it's in place..
Console cover comes up when you remove
I also do not know how he could "guarantee" these filters. What exactly
would that mean? For example, if you run into problems with your old motor
with 300K plus miles on it, how are you going to prove it was the fault of
the filter? You can talk oil analysis all you want but I would not think it

I have an uncle who was a pro mechanic. He says that belts should last a
long time but you need to apply belt dressing to them periodically if you
expect them to do so. They get dried out and glazed but the belt dressing
will prevent that if done properly and regularly.

That is exactly what I used 20 or so years ago and still do to this day even
though I had bought the proper tool not too long after the initial use,
there is a certain satisfaction that one gets from doing it that way.

injection harness are the most replaced item and then the engine harness.
you'll go through alot more injection harness's because it sits on top the
motor where the heat is. alot of this has to do with the averall amount of
heat in the engine compartment. I added one of the 92 degree fan switch
mod

creature comfort while driving is an understatement
VERY nice car and I would buy one again ONLY because I now know what to do
to keep it running.
