The pedal pulls on one cable that in turn pulls on a yoke in
the middle of the two
Which way? From the wheels to the spring?
This all started because the parking brake pedal won't retract. It took me
awhile to realize (like an idiot) that the pedal doesn't have its own spring...
Its a PITA to get out and put back...

Assisted the daughter Friday with moving into the university for her senior
year. Of course, had to hit the bookstore.
I was AMAZED (and perhaps I am showing my age here) at how much kids had to
spend for books now.
The first of two students in line in front of me spent in the high $500

I bought an orbital sander there today (the kind that takes 1/4 sheet of
sandpaper) for $10. It seems to be a decent sander, at least it did fine for a
pass over the hood. By the time I'm done with the 240D we'll know more...

planning to farm that job out to my Indy, he's got a lift, I'm sure that'll
help.

He's got a real nice green '85 300TD out front. It needs a little rust repair
but I suspect the price is right.
For $75 I got a hood, the missing sunroof clip and the buzzer for my 190D.

Lolz. It was Xanedu.com, they were the largest course pack producer at
the time (2001?). Bring work. I so prefer my current job :). Similar
line of work with a much more adult orientated type of medium. Still
doing copyright payouts though (atleast its one of several projects I

I had to pay some $100 for a course pack about a year ago. It was a
stack of 40 poorly photocopied sheets of paper, some of which were
illegible. It came with a disclaimer that said "to protect the student
and professor, no refunds will will be issued after this course pack
has been opened.
There has been a migration to requiring "Course Packs". These are
reprints of articles and notes required in addition to the textbooks.
Interestingly, many of them are authored by the professors teaching
the course and come with a hefty copyright fee. Too bad professors
have not heard about the fre

The screens vary in price, I got some material for pretty cheap sans
frame on ebay. I was aiming for a HUGE projection area, I think it was
10ft wide. I built my own projector. It was a worthy experience and we
had some fun summer movies in the carport... Starlight Six drive in is a
few miles away

True but that is when done by a good certified operator with a tig or
gas mig welder. No slag and scrupulously cleaned and then I still
wouldn't do it because of the vibrations. When a torque converter with
that kind of problem is rebuilt the complete neck is cut off and a new
one is welded on.

I have 6 on the road, 2 on standby and 1 yardbound snowplow (J20).
I rotate them running errands in the summer, gas up in small amounts frequently
($10).
Keeps the battery fresh as well as the gas. They hold up over the winter no
problem.
Couldn't do it without classic car insurance.
