I guess you have a TOUGH decision to make. which one would be the best
driver? Do you swap parts onto the one with the good engine, or swap
engines? At least the latter would allow you to change the necessary parts
with the engine out of the car.

non-issue. If he was dropping an 85 engine into an older body, its

SDL tranny off me. I then got on craigslist and what do I see listed in
the KC area but a 93 500SEL. No title, no keys but has a good engine

its cable just like all the other 123's
1981 was the year that the wagon was the only 123 with turbo. Did they save
money by using the 300SD tranny and electronic speedo instead of making a
speci
diesel (or have it rebuilt locally for approx. $2300?

Found the info online, when you file in OK, they contact your last
employer of 15 days or more. So, if you work somewhere less than that,
it doesnt count I guess.

I believe it's unique in that it's made to go with the '85 diff gearing.
K'leb can tell you which speedos are electronic vs mechanical, but I'm pretty
sure a lot of wagons were electronic when sedans were mechanical.
