I think my other 240D would adjust in and out as well as up and down when I
got it cleaned up -it just reaches the limit of travel to go out. My 124
manual mirror goes all 4 directions with inside lever.

It is kinda slow. We've sold about $1,600 in stuff the past month. But,
considering that it's not ours and we get 50% and it doesn't take too long,
it's worth it. If we were buying and reselling, it would not even be close to

Thanks to the replies to my mirror question. I ended up replacing the
Mamabenz mirror with one I got from a junkyard after taking the old one
off and trying to get it working. I managed to crack the mirror, but
the junkyard one had good glass. The one on the car was completely
corroded, the
