When I bought my 78 240D it had the clear lights and I wanted yellow so
I bought as pair from the deal at around $40 each - they are Bosch and
came with bulbs -- definitely not sealed beam...

Like I said, I don't know what it REALLY was, and it seemed that the MB
mechs/techs didn't either. They just seemed to want son to throw money at
it; he didn't and drove it another 100 kmi, anyway.
My thoughts, too, on the clutches, but I never got involved in it.

All of the ones for w210's have plastic lenses. (In the case of the xenon ones,
plastic inner and outer...but it's the outer one that yellows.)

do a proper job.
I wonder what would happen if you ground down the ends of the wafers so
that the key doesn't have to fit as precisely. You'd lose some
theftproofing, but as long as the wafers were good enough to not
