Well, I've thought, too, that the bed may be '48 or so. It's not on original frame; I've never seen the original frame. It's on a very sturdy and well-built frame of steel angle iron and pipes. One spring was broken, and the axle was sitting slightly askew when I got the trailer in Mar '79.
